The First Annual Bentonville Film Festival is Here!

The very first Bentonville Film Festival is literally just around the corner. It starts Tuesday! For those of you who do not know, Bethney Ruggiero, Principal, Strategic Event Design is the Executive Director of Festival Development, Logistics and Events for . What

The first-ever Bentonville Film Festival will take place May 5-May 9th in historic Bentonville Arkansas. The idea behind the festival is to encourage women and diversity in film. The Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) is an organization that is research-based, action-oriented and specifically works to provide a platform to increase the commercial value of films that reflect the growing diversity of the United States.

The 2015 BFF will be limited to feature-length films and screenplays and will have a wide variety of themes. There is “Miss India America”, a coming-of-age love story gone wrong, as well as “Mythica” an epic fantasy drama starring Kevin Sorbo. The BFF is proud to be sponsored by Walmart and Coca-Cola. Strategic Event Design is thrilled to support this important initiative as Director of the Festival.

Where

Bentonville, Arkansas is pleased to welcome film-goers. The town boasts a number of museums, historic and historic homes and gardens. For the film lovers who enjoy nature, there are over 16 local parks and a number of hiking and biking trails.

Events

Througout the festival there are a number of free events in local parks, libraries and art centers. Stop by the box office to receive your free tickets. Panel Discussions are ticketed ($15), so be sure to get your ticket in advance.
